Representative Text

1 There is one I can trust when I need a friend,
On Him I can always depend;
Thro’ sunshine or shadow, on sea or land
I fully can trust Him forever.

Refrain:
For He knows and He goes all the way with me,
And He bears and He shares ev’ry day with me;
I’ve tested and prov’d Him in shadow and shine,
And so I can trust Him forever.

2 There is one I can trust whatsoe’er befall,
Who answers whenever I call;
I tell Him my trials, I tell Him all,
I fully can trust Him forever. [Refrain]

3 There is one I can trust all the weary way,
To lead me to heaven’s bright day;
He never has failed me, so I can say,
I fully will trust Him forever. [Refrain]
