Representative Text

1 There's a mighty Helper at my side today,
One who keeps me singing all along the way,
One who pleaded with me when I went astray;
That's the kind of Savior I have found (I have found.)

Chorus:
That's the kind of Savior I have found, (have found,)
And with joy I spread the news around, (news around,)
Of the One who died that we might ever live;
That's the kind of Savior I have found. (I have found.)

2 When the storm was sweeping o'er my lonely soul,
When of self, despairing, I had lost control,
Jesus whispered peace to me and mede me whole;
That's the kind of Savior I have found (I have found.) [Chorus]

3 There is some One holding out His arms to you,
One who wants to help you to be good and true,
There is One who wants to make me happy too;
That's the kind of Savior I have found (I have found.) [Chorus]
