Michael Saward (PHH 16) wrote this creedal text about the mighty acts of God in 1971. It was published in the British Psalm Praise (1973) as an alternate text to the liturgical Easter canticle "Christ Our Passover Is Sacrificed for Us."

"These Are the Facts" simply states the biblical facts of Christ's death and resurrection and of his work of redemption, which is the heart of the Christian gospel.
A creedal hymn or canticle for Easter and other festive worship services; substitute this hymn for saying or singing one of the other creeds.
