Representative Text

1 Though I walk through death’s dark valley,
I no evil thing will fear;
For my Saviour’s ‘neath the shadow
Walking with me, ever near.

Refrain:
For no evil shall befall me;
With His strength He will uphold,
And will lead me gently lead me,
Safe into the upper fold.

2 Though the way is lost in darkness,
He shall e’er my comfort be;
He will guide me through the shadows
On the heaven’s light so free. [Refrain]

3 Though my hope and courage fail me,
He will e’er my strength uphold,
And will gently onward lead me
Safe into the upper fold. [Refrain]
