Representative Text

1 Thro’ long weary years I with fetters was bound,
Wherever I wandered no peace could be found,
But since Jesus found me His blessings abound,
I will follow wherever He leads.

Refrain:
Wherever He leads, wherever He leads,
I’ll follow the Savior wherever He leads,
Tho’ rough be the journey and narrow the way,
I will follow wherever He leads.

2 When Jesus spoke peace all my cares rolled away,
My soul filled with gladness, my night turned to day;
And lest from the side of my Savior I stray,
I will follow wherever He leads. [Refrain]

3 For me on the cross Jesus suffered and died,
That I with my Father might ever abide;
And tho’ I’m not worthy to walk by His side,
I will follow wherever He leads. [Refrain]

4 O’er mountain, thro’ valley, wherever He leads,
I’ll go with the Shepherd, His loved ones to feed;
And grace H will give me for every need,
I will follow wherever He leads. [Refrain]
