Representative Text

1 Watch and pray, day by day,
Seek from the Father, guidance on thy way;
Blessings sweet at His feet,
Mercy and truth in Jesus meet.

Refrain:
O watch to serve the King divine,
Make life’s story tell His glory;
And His grace portray;
O pray, whatever lot be thine,
Pray on believing, hope receiving,
Sweetly trusting, watch and pray.

2 Watch and pray, hear Him say,
“I have redeemed thee, and beside thee stay;”
Faithful still, do His will,
Who ev’ry promise will fulfill. [Refrain]

3 Watch and pray, happy ray,
Ready to brighten all who will obey!
Come and see, gifts for thee;
God shall thine expectation be. [Refrain]
