Representative Text

1 We labor in the Gospel field
With willing hearts and true;
We gather in the precious yield
And ever keep in view:

Refrain:
When the harvest comes!
When the harvest comes!
With precious sheaves be ready
When the harvest comes.

2 We gladly go where He may call
Our sheaves to seek and find;
We tell of Him who died for all,
Still bearing this in mind: [Refrain]

3 We take the Word as we are shown
And sow it by the way;
We often reap what has been sown,
This precept to obey: [Refrain]

4 We gladly spend these passing days
Amid the ripening grain;
We give the Master all the praise
By this our sweet refrain: [Refrain]
