We Would See Jesus

Representative Text

1 We would see Jesus, Jesus alone,
He is the Savior, He can atone,
All that we need, His grace will supply,
While He is calling, O let us come nigh.

Chorus:
We would see Jesus, hear Him today,
He is the Life, the Truth and the Way.
We would see Jesus, Savior and friend,
Able and willing to keep and defend.

2 We would see Jesus, Spirit of grace
Teach us and lead us, Show us His face,
Now by Thy pow'r His Person reveal,
Oh, may we trust Him to pardon and heal. [Chorus]

3 We would see Jesus, Helper and Guide,
He will not fail us, He will abide,
We would see Him, in sorrow and joy,
Still in His service the moments employ. [Chorus]

4 We would see Jesus, He is the King,
Oh! let us hasten, tribute to bring,
Now let us share His Covenant love,
We shall behold Him, in beauty above. [Chorus]
