Representative Text

1 What a meeting that will be
In the home beyond the sea,
When we all shall gather there;
Singing, shouting on the strand,
As we clasp each other's hand,
When we all shall gather there!

Chorus:
When we all shall gather there
In that home so bright and fair,
What rejoicing in the glory-land,
When we all shall gather there!

2 All our labors will be o'er,
And we'll sorrow nevermore,
When we all shall gather there;
Free from sickness, pain, and tears,
Disappointments, doubts and fears,
When we all shall gather there! [Chorus]

3 All our loved ones we shall meet,
Walk with them the golden streets,
When we all shall gather there;
No more partings there to be,
In that home from sin made free,
When we all shall gather there! [Chorus]

4 Best of all, dear friends, to me,
Is that I my Lord shall see,
When we all shall gather there;
Lean my head upon His breast,
He who saved my soul from death,
When we all shall gather there! [Chorus]
