Representative Text

1 What a song will rise on that bright, eternal morning,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home! (gathered home!)
Love divine will be ev'ry happy soul adorning,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home! (gathered home!)

Chorus:
When the saints are gathered home,
When we reach that sinless land and Jesus see, (Jesus see,)
Oh, what happy songs will ring thro' the palace of the King,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home!

2 With enraptured eyes we shall view the crystal river,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home! (gathered home!)
Near the great white throne we shall live and sing forever,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home. [Chorus]

3 On the streets of gold we shall tell and sing the story,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home! (gathered home!)
O, celestial skies all will ring with shouts of glory,
When the saints (When the saints) are gathered home. [Chorus]
