Representative Text

1 What have I, dear Lord, to bring Thee?
Neither wealth nor talent’s great,
Just a willing heart to give Thee,
That doth Thy commands await.

Refrain:
What have I, dear Lord, to bring Thee,
All I have thine own shall be;
Worldly wealth I cannot offer,
Only willing service free.

2 What have I, dear Lord, to bring Thee?
Only this—an earnest soul
To Thy service consecrated,
While life’s years onward roll. [Refrain]

3 All I have, O Lord, I give Thee,
Work of brain and hands I bring;
All that heart and soul can offer,
This, my gift to Thee, my King. [Refrain]
