Representative Text

1 When Christ sweetly came my soul to reclaim,
He banished my sins away;
Safe under the blood, the sin-cleansing flood,
He cast them forever to stay.

Refrain:
Remember’d no more forever,
Thy sins are remember’d no more;
They’re under the blood, the life-giving flood,
My sins are remember’d no more.

2 My life was so dear till Jesus came near,
And showed me His face divine;
Then over my soul I gave Him control,
When softly He said “Thou art mine.” [Refrain]

3 Remember’d no more, repeat o’er and o’er
The wonderful story true;
O make Him your choice, you’ll ever rejoice,
He’ll be such a Saviour to you. [Refrain]
