During our last fund drive a donor said this: "Covid-19 rules prevent us from singing during my husband's burial service, so we will play the tune while we read the printed words or hum along with the music." Needless to say, this testimony struck us and stuck with us. We never know on any given day how Hymnary.org will be a blessing to people, but we know that around the world, the site is making a powerful difference in the lives of many.

Thanks to all who use Hymnary.org and all who support it with gifts of time, talent and treasure. If you feel moved to support our work today with a gift of any amount and a word of encouragement, we would be grateful.

What though my joys and comfort die?
The Lord my savior liveth.
What though the darkness gather round?
Songs in the night he giveth.

Representative Text

1 When the world looks dark and drear,
Keep on loving Jesus;
You will ever find Him near,
Keep on loving Jesus.

Keep on loving Jesus,
Love Him ev’ry day,
Strive to do His bidding,
Trust Him, and obey;
Love to tell the story
Old, yet ever new;
Keep on loving Jesus,
Because He first loved you.

2 When by foes you are assailed,
Keep on loving Jesus;
When your strength has almost failed,
Keep on loving Jesus. [Refrain]

3 Our of darkness day will break,
Keep on loving Jesus;
Out of grief shall joy awake,
Keep on loving Jesus. [Refrain]

4 Cling to Him thro’ good or ill,
Keep on loving Jesus;
Love Him, trust Him, do His will,
Keep on loving Jesus. [Refrain]

5 He will always be your Friend,
Keep on loving Jesus;
He will keep you to the end,
Keep on loving Jesus. [Refrain]
