Representative Text

1 When we enter the portals of glory,
And the great host of ransom'd we see,
As the numberless sand of the sea-shore,
What a wonderful sight that will be.

Chorus:
Numberless as the sand of the sea-shore,
Numberless as the sand of the shore;
Oh, what a sight ‘twill be,
When the ransomed host we see,
As numberless as the sand of the sea-shore.

2 When we see all the sav'd of the ages,
Who from cruel death partings are free,
Greeting there with a heavenly greeting,
What a wonderful sight that will be. [Chorus]

3 When we stand by the beautiful river,
‘Neath the shade of the life-giving tree,
Gazing out o’er the fair land of promise,
What a wonderful sight that will be. [Chorus]

4 When we look on the form that redeem'd us,
And his glory and majesty see,
While as King of the saints he is reigning,
What a wonderful sight that will be. [Chorus]
