Representative Text

1 Where are the sins that once burden’d my soul?
Where are these sins today?
Under the blood of the dear Lamb of God;
All taken away!

Refrain:
All taken away,
All taken away,
Under the blood of the dear Lamb of God;
All taken away.

2 Where is my soul-condemnation now gone?
Where is my guilt today?
All is removed by the blood of the Lamb;
All taken away! [Refrain]

3 Where are the darkness, the doubts and the fears,
Since I have learned to pray?
They have been rolled on the heart of the Lord;
All taken away! [Refrain]

4 Where is the dread of the future unknown,
Dread of the judgment day?
Far from my thought it forever has gone;
All taken away! [Refrain]

5 Where is the proneness to wander from God,
And to forget to pray?
Since I have trusting in Jesus my Lord;
All taken away! [Refrain]
