Representative Text

1 While bearing my burden in sadness—
For stony and dark was the way,
My Saviour turned grieving to gladness,
I heard Him so tenderly say:

Refrain:
“My grace is sufficient for thee,
My grace is sufficient for thee;
My strength is made perfect in weakness,
My grace is sufficient for thee.”

2 ‘Tis blessed to rest in His caring;
His wonderful love He’ll display;
‘Twill lighten the cross I am bearing,
When still I can hear Jesus say:[Refrain]

3 To others I tell the sweet story,
“Come, trust in the Saviour today;
Until we behold Him in glory,”
O listen! to you He will say: [Refrain]
