Representative Text

1 With bright colors flying, on Jesus relying,
Beneath His dear banner so proudly unfurled,
With courage unfailing, sin’s stronghold assailing,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world.

Refrain:
Hosanna! hosanna! our glad hearts are singing,
The world to King Jesus through love we are bringing;
Hosanna! hosanna! our flag is unfurled,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world.

2 Our life’s best endeavor we pledge now and ever,
The powers of evil must downward be hurled,
Our vows have been spoken, a bright chain unbroken,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world. [Refrain]

3 We’ll bear to each nation the news of salvation,
United we’ll march ‘neath His banner unfurled,
His Kingdom most glorious shall soon be victorious,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world,
The Sunday School Army shall circle the world. [Refrain]
