Young People's Savior

Representative Text

1 Young people's Savior, hark, when we are praying:
Go after those who from Thy fold are straying;
They are Thine own though though blind by temptation,--
Give them salvation.

2 And when Thou hearest souls in secret sighing,
How they are longing and for peace are crying,
Teach them to soar on wings of prayer to heaven,
Peace to be given.

3 Show them the light that from Thy throne is beaming,
Show them the love that unto them is streaming,
Give them the grace that overcomes temptation,
Give them salvation.
