Your Risen Lord, Behold

1 Your risen Lord behold,
The glorious news proclaim;
Repeat the story told,
That Jesus lives again.
Now leave your tombs, ye sleeping dead,
To live with Him, your living Head,
To live with Him, your living Head.

2 The grave its power hath lost.
And death's proud scepter falls;
Nor more in triumph boasts,
For Christ hath conquered all.
Ye weeping saints, dry up your tears,
For lo! the Son of God appears,
For lo! the Son of God appears.

3 In majesty He reigns
O'er earth and heaven above;
Let cherubs join the strains
And sing His dying love.
Ye saints, His risen power adore;
He lives, He reigns forevermore,
He lives, He reigns forever more.
