Henri Potiron was a French composer, organist, and musicologist. He became the maître de chapelle at the Church of the Sacred Heart of Montmartre in 1910, a position he held for more than fifty years. He was a key figure in the application of modal theory to the accompaniment of Gregorian chant, writing several books on the subject and contributing articles to the Revue grégorienne and the Revue liturgique et musicale.
