1 Saviour, behold in Thy mercy now,
Hungry and poor at Thy feet I bow;
Send me not hence or I faint and die,
Hear Thou my cry.

Only the crumbs from Thy table, Lord,
Blessed repast for my soul will be;
Only the crumbs from Thy table, Lord,
Grant Thou to me.

2 Saviour, I know, I am least of all,
Yet to the feast I have heard The call;
Only to gather the crumbs that fall,
Glad I shall be. [Refrain]

3 Many the souls Thou hast kindly fed,
Here at Thy table so richly spread;
Only the crumbs to receive from Thee,
Blest I shall be. [Refrain]

4 Only the crumbs from Thy table give,
Only the crumbs that my soul may live;
Only the crumbs would I ask of Thee,
O, hear Thou me. [Refrain]
