| Text: | Psalm 18:29-36 |
| Tune: | BIRMINGHAM |
16. 29 Because of You I overcome a troop;
And with my God I overleap a wall.
30 God’s upright in His way; His Word is tried;
The LORD’s a shield to all who trust in Him.
17. 31 For who indeed is God, except the LORD?
And who is any rock, except our God?
32 He is the God Who girds my loins with strength,
The One who gives perfection to my way.
18. 33 Who makes my feet like hind’s feet, swift and sure,
Who makes me stand triumphant on the heights.
34 He gives my hands the skill and strength for war,
So that my arms can bend a bow of brass.
19. 35 The shield You gave me was Your saving help;
Your own right hand has always held me up;
Your care and condescension made me great;
36 You freed my steps; my feet have never slipped.
