1 Lord God, we meet in Jesus' name
and give you praise for daily care.
Christ's servant ministry and grace
uphold the work in which we share.

2 Through ordination we affirm
your gifts of love and dignity.
May the Good Spirit now confirm
this call to serve humanity.

3 By grace are priestly gifts received—
diverse, unique, sustained by skill—
to help us all meet human need,
as your great cause comes nearer still.
