Text Information:

Because the first half of verse 8 is the emotional high point of Psalm 34, this paraphrase fittingly uses it as a refrain. In the Christian context of the Lord’s Supper, the invitation to participate (“taste”) is joined with the promise of blessing (“see that the Lord is good”).
