1 O Lord, we love thy name;
Protect us by thy power,
In sorrow, sickness, joy and health,
And in our last dread hour.

2 Oh, keep us all thine own,
Preserve us day by day!
Make us to love Thee more and more,
And earnest when we pray.

3 Lo, when life’s eve draws nigh
We’ll dread not death’s alarms,
With Thou our guide, and, underneath,
The Everlasting Arms.
