1 Help us, O Lord, Thy name to love,
Help us to love Thy word,
Aid us to meekly follow Thee,
Thou ever blessed Lord;
Shine on our souls, O brightest sun,
Warm us with heav'n's own rays,
So may we ever more be found
Walking in heav'nly ways.

2 Help us to do Thy holy will,
Whate'er that will may be,
Shadow or sunshine, blessed One,
So that it pleaseth Thee;
Give to our souls the peace which comes
From serving Thee, O Lord,
So may we find when done for thee,
Work is it own reward.
