1 When in the tempest he’ll hide us,
When in the storm he’ll be near;
All the way ‘long he will carry us on,—
Now we have nothing to fear.

Have you not found that his grace doth abound,

4 You say, “I am weak, I am helpless,
I’ve tried again and again;”
Well, this may be true, but it’s not what you do,
‘Tis he who’s the “mighty to save.” [Refrain]
