Come the little flow'rs, one by one;
In our path we meet them, And their modest grace
Lends joy and charm to ev'ry place.

Fair as a lily, joyous and free,

Speaking words of comfort,

Just like the pretty, sweet wild flow'r.

2 Buttercups and daisies, dandelions too,
Smiling in the morning, wet with dew!
