49. Tell Me More About Jesus

1 Let me hear more about Jesus,
More of the cross which He bore;
More of His grief in the garden,
Of His temptations so sore;
More of His wonderful mercy,
And of His riches of grace;
More of the boundless compassion,
Which doth my sins efface.

2 Oh, tell me more about Jesus,
Tell of His wonderful love;
Tell of the blest intercession
Which He is making above;
Tell how His tomb was found empty,
And how He rose from the grave;
Tell of a blessed ascension,
Tell how He now doth save.

3 Tell how He’s coming in glory,
Tell of His kingdom of peace;
Oh, tell me more of this Savior,
Who doth sin’s captives release;
Yes, tell me more about Jesus,
Theme ever sweetest and best;
Let me learn more about Jesus,
Till at His feet I rest.
