67. Prayer is the Key

1 Pray'r is the key that will open the door,
Door to God's mercy, a wonderful store;
Faithfully use it and day after day,
Blessings unnumbered will fall on your way.

Refrain:
Praye'r is the key To blessings untold;
To all that the store-house of heaven can hold,
Pray'r is the key.

2 Marking each step that our worn feet must fare,
Life is a season of trial and care;
Pray'r is the key to the door that doth lead
Straight to the source of the help that we need. [Refrain]

3 Homeward we journey and each passing day,
Gladness and peace may be ours on the way;
Pray'r is the key to the heavenly home,
Use it till Jesus shall bid us to come. [Refrain]
