1 To our almighty Maker God,
New honors be address'd;
His great salvation shines abroad,
And makes the nations bless'd.

2 To Abraham first he spoke the word,
And taught his numerous race;
The Gentiles own him sov'reign Lord,
And learn to trust his grace.

3 Let the whole earth his love proclaim
With all her diff'rent tongues;
And spread the honor of his name
In melody and songs.
