| Notes: | This setting of the canticle for night prayer is best learned through repeated use. The refrain may be taken alone as a frame for the reading or chanting of the canticle. The use of the Gloria Patri is optional. This is also a wonderful setting for daily use in the home at bedtime. Children easily learn the responses in the verses, and the refrain is a wonderful prayer to be sung together before sleeping. |
