199. We rise to sing the song

1 We rise to sing the song
Of Moses and the Lamb;
With grateful heart and joyful tongue,
To praise the Saviour's name.

2 We sing His dying love,
His rising, reigning power;
We sing, He ever pleads above,
For us whose sins He bore.

3 Along the heavenly way,
We with the ransomed sing;
Rejoicing, boasting ev'ry day,
In Christ our gracious King.

4 Soon will He call away,
And take His pilgrims home;
Soon we shall hear our Saviour say,
"Ye blessed children, come!"
