1 Preserved by thine Almighty power,
O Lord, our Maker--Saviour--King,
And brought to see this happy hour,
We come thy praises here to sing.

Here in thy courts we'll gladly stay,
And at thy foot-stool humbly pray,
That thou wouldst take our sins away.

2 We praise thee for thy constant care,
For life preserved, for mercies given,
Oh, may we still those mercies share,
And taste the joys of sins forgiven. [Chorus]
