7. I Shall Be Like Him

1 I shall be like Him, some bright, glorious day,
When He shall call me from labor away;
Like Him in glory, where cometh no night,
Robed in His beautiful garments of white.

2 I shall be like Him, my soul satisfied,
When, in His beauty, I stand by His side;
Spotless and white thro’ eternities long,

To all eternity it shall endure;
And thro’ His wonderful, wonderful grace,
I shall, with rapture, behold His dear face. [Refrain]

4 I shall be like Him, my Saviour, my Lord,
For He has given His own faithful word,
“Naught can molest me,” my fears flee away,
I shall be like him on that glorious day. [Refrain]
