39. Working For Him

1 I ever must work for my Savior and Lord,
And live for him more and more;
My time and my strength, and my talents, my all,
Are his till my life is o’er.

Working for him, Jesus, my Lord,
Working while still it is day;
O let me not weary in labors of love,
But faithfully work and pray.

2 O let me help some one wherever I go,
For many have wandered far,
And they might be brought to the beautiful way,
Where Jesus’ own foll’wers are. [Chorus]

3 O let me be working to comfort earth’s grief,
To brighten the darkest hour;
To lead those in trial to look to the Lord,
