هلموا نُودعُ عاماً مضى
وللرب نرفعُ أنظارَنا

ونحيا لمن ماتَ من أجلِنا

1- لننسَ إذاً ما هو في الوراءْ
وننظرُ نحو يسوعَ الرجاءْ
ونطرحُ أثقالَنا عندَ مَنْ
تخلّى عن المجد وقتَ الفِدا

2- ألسنا قطيعاً صغيراً له
لماذا نخاف هجومَ العِدى
فعينُ الإله على شعبهِ
مِن البدءِ ايضا وطول المدى

3- تعلّقْ برب النجاة لكي
ينجيك من عثرات الطريقْ
فإذ قد عرفتَ اسمه لا تخفْ
سيرفع نفسك من كل ضيقْ

4- فنحنُ على باب عامٍ جديدْ
لنحيَ بفيضِ الرجا والأملْ
كفانا فتورٌ كفاناً ضمورْ
كفانا قعودٌ في هذا الجبلْ
