10. God’s Word Endureth Ever

1 Tho’ all else should fail,
God’s Word will endure,
‘Tis a rock that no pow’r can remove;
‘Tis founded on truth,
And grounded on love,
There is naught can its message disprove.

Firm as a rock, firm as a rock,
Enduring, unmovable ever,
God’s Word will abide yea, e’er will abide;
God’s Word changeth not, changeth never.

2 Tho’ all else prove false,
God’s Word standeth sure,
His rich promises never will fail;
They’re given to you,
They’re ever the same,
For you need they will ever avail. [Refrain]

3 In confidence ask,
God’s Word changeth not,
To His side you so closely may creep;
He listens in love,
He cares for His own,
Over them He will loving watch keep. [Refrain]
