The library has 3,457 hymnals with music, 1,446 words-only. Hymnals of American and Canadian imprint, dating from the seventeenth century to the present day. All denominations included. Collection features an interesting selection of Pennsylvania German imprints; twentieth-century hymnals from small, fundamentalist groups in the West, South, and Midwest; shape-note hymnals; sheet music for hymns, Christmas music, spirituals, and the like are also included in an allied sheet music collection. Date Range: 17th–20th c.
