The library of the Moravian Archives in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, holds ca. 20,000 volumes, including 12 incunabula. The main focus of the collection is the history of the Moravian Church but the library also contains many titles on related topics. The library of the Moravian Archives contains many hymn books, most of these are from the Unity of the Brethren and the Moravian Church. Five of the earliest hymn books from the Unity of the Brethren in the collection date from the 16th century. The Moravian Archives has numerous 18th-century Moravian hymnals in German and English, but also in Dutch Creole (Virgin Islands), Sranang tongo (Suriname), Scandinavian languages, Latvian, and Dutch. One of the latest acquisitions is a Moravian hymn book from Nepal. Date range: 16th c.-
