A general collection that includes gospel hymnals and Bible-camp souvenirs. Several instrumental hymnbooks and hymnal companions, hymn story books, and newspaper articles. Several are pocket-size and words-only. The oldest volume was published in 1815, the 41st edition of the Methodist pocket hymnal. Also have an 1819 James Winchell edition of Watts hymns, and a pocket-size, words-only edition of Hymns Ancient and Modern with no printed date but a written name and date of 1869 on the front page. A number of denominations are represented by at least one hymnal. Most of the non-English hymnals were printed in the United States.
