Large songbook and sheet music collection, of which hymnals and sacred songs are a small part. Hymnals are mostly twentieth-century Protestant, but include shape-note songbooks and songs for tent and revival meetings. Also have sheet music for sacred songs. Many hymnals published by Vaughan and Stamps. Also have a large sound-recording collection, and many sacred songs sung by country and/or Southern gospel artists. Date range: 19th-mid 20th c.
