The Abraham H. Cassel Collection includes items relating to the Ephrata Cloister: hymnbooks; letter book (1755) of Conrad Beissel; collection of songs composed and arranged by Johannes Kelpius; and the death register of the cloister, 1728–1821. The remainder of the collection is comprised of religious tracts, hymnbooks, and schoolbooks. Many of the hymnals are illustrated. Date range: 1680–1821.
