Feature request: search tunes by intended metrical feet

You are here

I've written some texts intended to be set to public domain hymn tunes, and some of them are trochaic.

However, it seems I have to look at each tune individually to determine if they were intended for such a versification. Obviously, most tunes (especially in CM, LM, or SM) are intended for use with Iambic verse.

This likely would require new metadata for each tune, since they don't seem to be marked anywhere, on this website or any others I've found. What would it take to add this?

Thanks,
Robert M
