Daughter of Fred and An­nie Tur­ner Curtis, Chris­tine grad­u­at­ed from Well­es­ley Col­lege in 1913. She worked in the ad­ver­tis­ing de­part­ment of Mac­mil­lan Com­pa­ny, New York; F. A. Stokes Com­pa­ny, New York; and did ed­i­tor­ial work for Ginn & Com­pa­ny in Bo­ston, Mass­a­chu­setts. Her works in­clude:
