Daye, Elizabeth, 1733-1829. Daughter of Rev. James Daye, Presbyterian minister at Lancaster (d. 1770). Published a volume of poems at Liverpool, 1798, and contributed to the Monthly Repository. Her hymn Of Worship is in Kippis & Belfast Collection, “I'll bless Jehovah's glorious name." Wallace gives another hymn for Sunday Evening, "0 may the truths this day has taught."
