Born: April 18, 1867, Cher­ry Hill Farm, Bea­ver Coun­ty, Penn­syl­van­ia.
Died: Ap­ril 20, 1954.

Doak was liv­ing in Frank­fort Springs, Penn­syl­van­ia, in 1880. In 1889, he was in the sen­ior class of Penn­syl­van­ia Nor­mal School in Ed­in­boro, Penn­syl­van­ia. He served as pas­tor of the Meth­od­ist Epis­co­pal church in Ar­magh, Penn­syl­van­ia (1894-95) and in Zel­ien­o­ple, Penn­syl­van­ia (1924-26). He was liv­ing in Bea­ver Coun­ty, Penn­syl­van­ia, as of 1930. His works in­clude:
