Hunt, Arthur Billings. (1890-1971). Soloist, voice instructor, director of music. Was the "Home Rodeheaver" as leader of mass singing in New York City, and in early days of radio one of the outstanding gospel soloists. Adopted Uncle George C. Stebbins as his dad. Conducted weekly broadcast over national hookup of New York Federation of Churches for 14 years. For a time was director of music at Nyack Missionary Training Institute. Published at his own expense a paper for shut-ins. Assisted in compiling 1936 edition of Hymns for the Christian Life.
