MacMillan, Alice Sherwood (1900--?). Born near Balsta Spa, New York. Graduate of Nyack College, 1926. Member for ten years of the Christian and Missionary Alliance headquarters staff in New York City. Married missionary-author J.A. MacMillan, 1936. Prolific poetess. Author of the words of hymn "My Lord Will Come Some Day" with C. Austin Miless furnishing the musical setting. It appears in Hymns of the Christian Life, 1936, 1962, and 1978 editions.
