Larry Roberts

Full Name: Roberts, Larry
Birth Year: 1952

Larry E. Roberts Sr. (b 22 April 1952, Chicago, IL) started playing organ at the age of four and by age thirteen was accompanying services at Chicago’s Trinity All Nations Church, where he later became minister of music (1968). In 1988, Roberts accepted the call to ministry and studied at the Trinity All Nations Church Bible School and Moody Bible Institute. He was elected pastor of Trinity All Nations Church (2002), then consecrated as Bishop (2014), retiring in 2023. Under his direction, the Trinity All Nations Choir has recorded several albums and traveled worldwide, singing many of Roberts’ own compositions, such as “I Love Jesus More Today,” “I’ve Got a Feeling,” “I Gave My Heart to the Lord,” and “Are You Ready.” Roberts and his choir accompanied Albertina Walker on her albums Please Be Patient with Me (1979) and God Is Our Creator (1981).
